The forehead naturally suggests focus, orientation, planning, and conscious direction. 

Understanding is the light; 

Will is the movement.

Fillmore’s central point was not that one tiny anatomical switch controls destiny. It was that vision and decision must cooperate. His memorable conclusion was that we do not need less Will; we need more Understanding.

A powerful engine without headlights is dangerous; headlights without an engine merely illuminate the driveway.
