Westside is a New Thought Ministry that teaches life's potential is greater than the outer appearance using a metaphysical approach.

Westside Center of Truth has stood as a beacon of light for over forty-five years in the Lawndale community, which is located on the Westside of Chicago. We continue to stay true to our commitment by teaching a new way of thinking to individuals on how to change their lives by altering the way they think and by knowing the Christ that is within them is their source for physical healing and soul restoration. We teach ageless, spiritual principles as taught by Jesus, the Christ and recognize that thinking and feelings affect every area of one's life, world and affairs. A person is and becomes what he/she thinks and feels! 

WCT is a founding member of the Universal Foundation for Better Living, Inc. which was founded in 1974 on the spiritual principles of healing by the Reverend Dr. Johnnie Colemon.

The Universal Foundation for Better Living (UFBL) is an international association of Bible-based New Thought Christian churches, centers, and study groups dedicated to spreading the abundant life teachings of Jesus the Christ.

Westside Center of Truth for Better Living’s vision is for all people everywhere to follow Jesus' examples, and to live life as God has created us to live it–whole, perfect and complete. 
 Our services, activities and programs are God-centered, and provide creative, spiritually sound and socially responsible principles that promote healing and a better way of life.

New Thought is Practical Christianity that empowers people to realize their potential by becoming consciously aware of Spirit within them. New Thought teaches universal spiritual principles that enable people to build happy and prosperous lives.

To further the understanding and the teachings  of Jesus Christ; To direct all mankind into the realization of the truth of God's omnipresence; the divinity of man; the value and power of thought; practicing the presence; and the demonstration of truth in our every-day, work-a-day lives.
